A new feeling






I have felt it creeping in just this past week.
This feeling is a bit new.
When I contemplate the Batsman going to school next year, this new feeling can sit beside the other more familiar ones.
Panic, fear, anxiety, trepidation and overwhelm.....please meet excitement.

Crazy as it sounds but we have been so busy doing what needs to be done to get the Batsman off to school, that I have only just realised that we are about to achieve one of the big things we aimed for when he was diagnosed.

I am excited!
And it feels good.

    I am excited for you all too, it's such a wonderful time. Enjoy the good bits, you have done so much hard work to get here, go and buy an oversized uniform and enormous school bag and new lunch box and special stickers!
