here we go again

It's been too long since I have written here.
The time, the year of grade prep, has melted away.

Here we go again. We are at the beginning of grade one.
The prep year, if I look at it whole, was largely uneventful. Sure there were some little bumps along the way but overall the Batsman just kept on going. He tried new things, met new people, achieved new milestones, kept up with his peers and smiled through it all. It felt so very fortunate to be able to exhale and watch him step out in the world.

It would be remiss of me not to mark a new school year. The Batsman is raring to go again and even though there is a little of his anxiety evident, he is pretty excited about being with his friends and telling his new (lovely) teacher all about his life. The Bowler tags along too. His turn for prep will come next year.

Here we go again. Here they go again. I'm so proud.
