Email from a friend

I got an email yesterday. It made my day.

It came from a dear friend on the other side of the world. She has recently become a mum to a beautiful daughter.

I haven't seen this friend since D-day but she has recently begun to read along here and follow our autism adventure.

In the email she said  "because of the distance, there is no way I can support you, but believe me when I say my heart is with you, especially now I have A and I understand what it means to be mother....your life  must be frantic and you really need all the possible support, which I hope your family and best friends manage to give you. Do not fear to say you are tired when you are, to say you feel lonely or angry when you do. It is the least you can feel, I would."

Wow, just wow. "....there is no way I can support you...."

She doesn't realise. By writing this message to me, she already has.
