Weekend grateful

I’m grateful, ever so grateful for this place. The Learning for Life Autism Centre and its team have been working with the Batsman since June last year doing ABA therapy for approximately 20 hours per week. It’s intensive, it’s demanding, for all of us, especially for the Batsman. Having therapists in and out of your home all day long brings new meaning to “treasuring your peace and quiet” because there rarely is any. But, it’s helping him. The Batsman’s speech, his receptive language, his social skills, his independence, his confidence, his tolerance of chaos around him, his play skills and his relationships are all blooming because of the work that we and Learning for Life are doing with him.

Like I said, ever so grateful. Have a wonderful weekend.
